Today I went for a little casual ride with Motorman. We went to Bayport Florida. Only a bout 10 miles form here, but we went some little twistie roads. I do mean little twisties compared to what we have on Vancouver Island. It was lovely though, and me with out my camera. He pulls over where he figured for sure, I would love to take a pic, and I would have but damn camera wasn't with me.
MM could not believe it..I have been trying to contain myself in the picture department, although it has only been a day. He says to me... How are earth will your bike run without your camera, you ALWAYS have that camera attatched to your hip. It told him I was trying to take his advice and not take so many as it is always a preformance sorting them out and downloading. Oh well, we will just have to go it again another day.
It was really cool scenery, beautiful palm trees along swam. These palms are different that the ones I am used to seeing in Mexico. The houses along the swamp are all on stilts so when the floods come, they dont go under water. Apparently this happened years ago and alot of homes weree totally under water and destroyed. I've never seen houses on stilts before. It was a great little ride.
We stopped for a soda and of course Motorman caught me one of his jokes that are like so serious when he tells it till I realize, I fell for it again.. The Rotter ;)
