Thelma and Louise playin in the parking lot.

Here I am on Doc's Ultra. It weighs 100 lbs more than the Electra glide. But.. Like Motorman says you are not carrying the bike you are riding it.. so I gave it a wurl. The clip tells all, I was a little nervous riding someone else's bike, but other thanks the clutch felt like butter compared to mine, and the sound of the pipes was soft that was about the only difference. It is a beautiful bike, but I prefer louder pipes. I did it though.

We had another blast in the parking lot and I am sure you will all get sick of the clips but it is a great way to see yourself what needs improving. I am finding that I am starting to sit up straight longer and it not only looks better but helps you relax.

The one exercise that I am having great difficulty with that MM does not teach in the course unless he sees the students advanced enough is the 180 y-turn. What I mean is.. you pull up to a complete straight stop...SNAP your head straight back to where you want to go behind you, you your friction zone, and narrow that turn to about 18.5 feet.. It sounds simple but it is so not.. You automatically want to straight your bars out again. Like you want to do your dip before you turn.

I am tempted to post that clip as it is hideous of me trying to do it.. But I WILL get it!! I have just over a week to practice all these exercises to ride in the show and not stand back and watch. Not that it isn't entertaining and a riot to watch, it is just a goal I have. I am waiting for the day he tells me, I am good enough, that he has faith in me.. Know MM it will be at the last moment. Anyway, I am not good enough yet, I know that.,

I love working with MM in the parking lot, and I really try to pay attention hard, and appreciate every moment I get with him. I try to absorb it all and even how he explains it.

I love going off to the parking lot with Doc/Louise it is a different kind of learning and fun. We encourage each other, yell at each other, well okay she yells at me ;) She absolutely cracks me up!! Her little rants are hilarious!

They both have a great sense of humour. I have to say us two with our little ponytails on big bikes turns a few heads.. It is quite amusing as alot of the time it is the little old couples that think we are cool.
