I have a countdown calendar on my wall to the Conga ride --- in anticipation of what all of you are doing. I am so proud to be associated with this effort and the fact that several of you will be wearing SassyBiker helmets is just icing on the cake! I wish I could take this ride with you - but please know that I am really there in spirit.
Please take lots of pictures and videos. I would love to see and post on my website a photo of all of you ladies - PINKED THE HELL OUT - ROLLING DOWN THE ROAD!!!
I get a tear in my eye when I think of what it will mean to so many friends, sisters, mothers, fathers, brothers and children of survivors as well as those who are watching from Heaven. I get choked up just writing it in this message board --- I don't know you - not a single one of you - but - I REALLY FEEL LIKE WE ARE CONNECTED. I have blasted every news outlet I can reach locally hoping for a mention so that people can know at this epic journey. I will be wearing my pin (thanks Lisa) and my own pink bracelet for the duration of your ride - in spiritual solidarity!!
