No problem at all, always like to kick in for a good cause. And by the way, any friend of Jerry and Donna's, is a friend of mine.
I will do all the promotion that I can, you have a flier in electronic form you can send me? I can printout copies and put it in some of the dealers around town. I will do what I can to get you some riders!Attached is an Adobe PDF of maps and directions for the route that I made up. I tried to include a good cross section of what Indiana is.As you will see, I can meet up with you gals in Scottsburg, Indiana around 10:00 am.
From there, we will head up mostly SR 135, a good curvy road that leads to Nashville, Indiana. This little Indiana village is near Brown County State park, a nationally renowned state park, and is a typical tourist trap shopping village. From there we will continue meandering north, through Martinsville, along one of my favorite roads, Robb Hill, and then up to Danville, Indiana. I have planned for lunch at Mayberry Cafe, where you can enjoy an Hoosier Home Cooked Meal, Episodes of The Andy Griffith Show, and even take your picture with Barney's Police Car!
After lunch, the journey changes for the hills and hollers of southern Indiana, to the farm land. I have planned a rest stop near Lafayette, Indiana, and then another at one of the largest dairy farms in the world, Fair Oaks. This will be a great place for an afternoon dairy snack, i.e. Ice Cream.Look it over, and tell me what you think, and I will work on getting the word out.Hope you had a Happy Valentine's Day!
