Hi Flo,
I keep in touch with a very good friend of ours, Daniel Book. Dan is currently serving our Country in Afghanistan. We email back and forth weekly and we got to talking about our Conga II and riding for the breast cancer cure.
Well, low and behold, I open my mail today and there is a wonderful letter from Dan's parents which says:
Dear Mrs. Palladino,
Our son Dan Book, called from Afghanistan and requested that we send you this donation for breast cancer research.
Respectfully yours,
Don and Betty Ruth Book
Now, tell me that isn't fabulous? Here we have one of our heroes fighting for our safety, but yet, Dan took the time to call his parents to make sure his 100.00 donation made it to me for the Conga II Reunion ride.
Just thought this would brighten your day, it certainly has mine.
I have one thing to say..... WOW!!!!
It can't be THAT difficult! Can it????

Famous last words...It can't be That difficult can it? I found some

wow is right!
Hey Flo! It doesn't surprise me about Dan and his generosity. Do you know that when he came down to visit me and Jerry and take our class, once he got home to Illinois, he shipped us the most scrumptious jams and jellies that were produced by the local farmers in his area? Talk about YUMMY!! :)
He sounds like a hell of a guy, please tell him thankyou so much from all of us WWR. That is blogged for all the world to see. Hugs to Dan in Afganistan!!
