Is the Queen goin???

I have been doing a little research, with help of course from my DH. The first step has be made towards the Conga is LIFE INSURANCE!! Ha, now don't laugh because this Conga may not be as smooth as the last even thought it had its close calls. I am figuring I will be on my own for many states and many provinces. Of course I am hoping differently but it is best to be safe. I remember when I left Mexico to meet my new found friends in America, Robs last word were... Please go with the attitude that no one will show up and if they do it is a bonus... Men..ha... they need to have a little more faith in human nature...tee hee.

I will be insured for a year as I will be in Mexico before hand and you can only get 6 months or a year.. That was 400 bucks... shit but HTBD..

Jerry says you need to have your CAM CHAIN TENSIONERS INSPECTED. FRONT AND REAR. I'm betting you have over 20,000 miles, so this is important. Catastrophic failure could result from CAM BEARING FAILURE. I say... MM I have 27000 miles on now, and he his worried!!

That put a little scare into me and Rob says he will look into that for sure, especially seeings we will be doing a big trek. I have no idea what that will cost. But again...HTBD.

That all has to be done before being shipped. Okay now we got find out shipping costs.. They haven't got back to us yet, but the good thing is they do do door to door. Which of course will mean more money, as we all knew. So still a bit of a dilemma, well a big dilemma as I have to sort this all out before I head south down Mexico way. I am thinking it will be no less than a grand to ship, and being as we are on the Island a lot more.

It is funny here at the Barbershop everyone thinks the way I do things that I am rich..Ha, if they only knew, if there is a strong enough will, there is probably a way. It is just that my priorities are different than most I guess. Of course having a partner that accepts me for who I am and the decisions I make and is always very careful about saying NO to me...

The decision of shipping the Queen came to mind as there was no RLAP bike for sale to ride back. Why would I buy any other bike at this time anyway. I knew if Docdonna's Glide were to come up for sale, that Rob would buy it in an instant, so I wouldn't have to worry about where the money was going to come from.. Easy Peasy, done deal. I could hook up with the CCConga and all would be good.

So I wake up this morning.........Flick on the puter, grab a cup of coffee..Open my mail....I see....RLAP BIKE FOR SALE!!

Coffee spews all over my puter... chuckling at my friends... hoping it was Docdonna's as for sure I had a buying..

It wasn't!! How would I like to own one of his....You bet I would!! Now I just have to find away!

Sure would be cool riding a Police bike back across the US and keeping it parked in my garage...For my RLAP FRANCHISE.
