Hi Priscilla, and yes, I do remember you and Ray. Good to hear from you!
This sounds like an interesting idea for a story but I have to ask a
few questions: will someone be able to gather up photos of Flo and
the riders who join her along the way to provide to us? That's the
first question my editor always asks so I'll ask you before I even
pitch the idea to him.
The other usual question is related to exclusivity. Do you know of
other magazines that are planning to cover the trip? We usually don't
worry about club publications or even regional magazines, but if a
direct competitor is running the story, we'd probably decline.
Welcome to the hog-eat-hog world of publishing!
If you'll yet let me know those bits of info, we can take it from there.

Oh, and I noticed in one of the attachments that you've had companies
make donations that were auctioned off to add to the collected funds.
Are you planning any further auctions? I might be able to help there
with something.
best,

Donna, Can you share this with Flo and let me know some of Marilyn's answers? I remembered we met Marilyn several years ago and she and Ray really connected. If we could get Iron Works to do a story wouldn't that be wonderful. I can't remember if we have had any other magazine contact us..
